Anonymous asked: Do you feel as if you should be a Conservative/Republican and/or Christian to be a "true southern lady?" It kind of comes off that way in your blog. I don't know if you meant for that to happen. I'm not criticizing or anything, but I would like to know your opinion. Also, I apologize if someone has already asked this question - I have not creeped that far back in your archive, lol.

I am personally a Conservative as well as a Christian, and I am a “southern lady.” The beliefs and morals that lay the foundation for a conservative are tied with the traditions that us southern folks are brought up to hold dear. If your roots are from the South and you were raised in it, you will most likely be a Conservative and a Christian. However, I am not saying that you have to be a Conservative and a Christian in order to be a “true southern lady.” I just think that if you TRULY possess the standards that are linked with a lady, even more so, a southern lady, then you will naturally fall under the categories of a Conservative and a Christian. 

However, it is possible for a “true southern lady” to not fall under these categories, as well.
